A Song for Oriana (Op. 93), by Christopher Brown

"A Song for Oriana" is a Cantata for Mixed Chorus (SAATB) and Children's Choir, supported by Trumpets, Percussion and Organ. The Work was commissioned from Christopher Brown (see also) by Grayston Burgess and Histon Choir 2000 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in June 2002. It sets to music words by George Peele (adapted from Anglorum Feriae) and by "Anon" (The Triumphs of Oriana).
