Benjamin Britten

A Boy was born (Novello version)

Here is a "clickable" Table of the available Midi Files for this Work.
Note that there are at least two versions of this Work, and that they are not-so-subtly different. The one I keyed in first is an early Oxford University Press one; this score is dated 1934, and the Work, originally written in 1932/3, was probably revised later, and a newer OUP score was prepared around 1958. This 1958 OUP score appears to be almost identical to the Novello score, also from 1958, which I "keyed in" second (see the Files below ... actually, I "converted" the former into the latter: the difference is mainly in the swapping of a few notes in one Voice with those of another, plus quite a bit of "shortening" by snipping out a few bars here and there; I may have missed a few swaps out, but I hope not!).
Note also that in Section 4: "Jesu, as Thou art our Saviour", the SATBs 1 sing as the semi-chorus):-

A Boy was born (Novello version)
UNemphasized Soprano 1
(or Semi-Chorus)
Soprano 2  Alto 1

 Alto 2  Tenor 1

That's the end of the Work.
